How Oven tokens work

• Every launch is a plain BEP-20: 1,000,000,000 supply, 18 decimals, no owner, no tax, no mint, no blacklist, no proxy.
• The whole supply goes into a PancakeSwap V3 pool with the 1% fee tier, as a single-sided position that the Oven locker holds forever.
• No bonding curve and no migration. The pool is final from the first block, so any PancakeSwap V3 route trades the token right away.
• Pairs: BNB (WBNB), USDT, USD1, CAKE or another BEP-20. Every launch opens at a $6,000 market cap.
• Launch modes: Shield (1% max wallet for the first 60 seconds) or Degen (no limits).

Detecting launches

Each launch emits two events on the factory, in the same transaction that creates the token and its pool. Together they carry every launch detail, so no extra calls are needed:

• Every Oven token address ends in 0000. The factory refuses any other address, so the suffix is a quick authenticity check.
• sqrtPriceX96 is the start price: √(pair base units per token base unit) × 2⁹⁶. Shares are of 10,000; the platform gets the rest. quoteToken is WBNB for BNB pairs.
• FirstBuy(token, creator, quoteIn, tokensOut) follows when the creator bought inside the launch transaction (max 10% of the supply, shown publicly).
• MetadataUpdated(token, metadata) fires at launch (when metadata is set) and whenever the profile owner edits the description, logo or links. ProfileTransferred(token, from, to) and MetadataLocked(token) follow profile hand-overs and permanent locks.
• To backfill, page through launchCount() and getLaunches(offset, limit), or read one token with getLaunchView(token) (includes profileOwner and metadataLocked). One creator's tokens: launchCountByCreator(creator) and getLaunchesByCreator(creator, offset, limit). isLaunched(token) tells whether an address is an Oven launch.
• Allowed pair assets and their start-price ranges: getQuotes().
• PancakeSwap V3's Swap event has two extra fields compared with Uniswap V3 (protocolFeesToken0, protocolFeesToken1).

Token metadata

Name and symbol are the token's own. Everything else is a JSON string stored on-chain by the factory (metadataOf(token), at most 8 KB):

• Every field is optional. Treat all of it as untrusted user input.
• logo is an image stored on-chain (a PNG, JPEG, WEBP or GIF data URL of a few KB) or an https:// / ipfs:// link. The JSON API serves on-chain logos as normal image URLs.
• Names and tickers can use any script, Chinese included (up to 64 and 16 bytes).

Progress & stages

Oven has no bonding curve, so there is nothing to graduate from. For tools that sort tokens by bonding progress, Oven publishes progress towards its Golden brown milestone, a $69,000 market cap:

Progress follows the current market cap, not its all-time high. The token trades on the same PancakeSwap pool at every stage. The API also returns Oven's own doneness stage and oven temperature in progress.doneness.

JSON API

Read-only, no key, CORS enabled, cached for a few seconds at the edge. chain is 56 (default) or 97 for the testnet.

• Errors return { "error": "…" } with status 400 (bad parameters), 404 (not an Oven token), 503 (network not deployed yet) or 502 (the chain could not be read).
• feeSharesBps are shares of the pool's LP fees out of 10,000, fixed at launch. PancakeSwap keeps 32% of the 1% swap fee before that.
• Test BNB is valued at the real BNB price, like on the website.

Trading during Shield

• For 60 seconds after a Shield launch, no wallet can end up holding more than 1% of the supply. A buy that would go above it reverts with MaxWalletExceeded.
• The token emits LimitsStarted(endsAt, maxWallet); read limitsActive(), limitsEndAt() and maxWallet() to size orders. /api/token returns the same in shield.
• Only the pool, the factory, the locker, PancakeSwap's position manager and the buyback contract are exempt. Routers are not, so a buy above the limit fails even when it is routed.

Brand kit

Logos for listings, terminals, wallets and articles. Keep the oven as it is: don't recolour, stretch or redraw it.

Name: OvenLaunch (one word, capital O and L), or Oven for short. Chinese: Oven 烤箱. Fonts: Space Grotesk and Inter.
